This is the story of a girl, trying to find her place in this world!

As I have spent my summer wasting away in boredom in this vast land of Kanab, UT, I have had nothing but time to think about THINGS! Now when I say that I am pretty much meaning any THING & every THING! Here is what I have come up with:
I truly miss the days when life was …well SIMPLE! When my biggest problem was that my “bff” :) of the moment wouldn’t call me back or let me borrow her amazing pen, or something else inconsequential. When boys liked you and they wrote you notes to tell you, because who really wanted to be left in the dark about THAT! Hahaha! When the only money I had to come up with was the money I thought I needed to buy treats. I miss the easy days, although at the time something’s felt like they were going to kill me due to the fact that EVERYTHING is SO dramatic and was a life or death situation, sometimes I wish I could rewind and just enjoy the days where I never knew about heartbreak, phone bills, insurance bills, car payments...Okay money in general, college and degrees, jobs, careers...Well the list goes on and on. However, after I have thought about inventing a time machine so that I could make life easier I remember that I wouldn’t change one thing in my life, because I am where I am now (even though I may not be exactly thrilled about where I am right now) because of my past. I am the person I am because of what I have learned. Anyways, basically I kind of just wish life was plain and simple, just awesomely sweet and adventurous and well any other good word that fits with life. But I guess pain and struggle was part of the deal.
I have truly discovered just how amazing my family is (although none of us can keep a secret and within seconds the ENTIRE family knows something you just barely told one sibling) goodness they all make me SO happy!! I wouldn’t change one of them EVER! Let me explain a little about each one…My dad “BIG GUY” this man is the strongest, kindest, sweetest, funniest and overall most awesomely great man that I have ever met. Honestly though what man wouldn’t be pure amazing after dealing with 5 daughters and no boys to counteract all of the emotional junk. I am so lucky to have him in my life. He is my hero! I hope someday I can find a man that is even half as good as he is! Gosh I just love him! … My mom! This women…oh lanta, we have our moments. We are too much alike thus we clash A LOT. But she is one incredible woman, she has been through a lot and she is so strong. She would give everything she has for all of us girls and sometimes it may come off that she is overbearing but she just wants the absolutely best for us all! I love her and can probably never repay her for how much she has given me in life… Melissa, where do I even start with this girl? She is so funny and so easy to talk to. She will just sit and listen to anyone if they need to rant about anything. She can be so ditsy and times that all you can do is laugh at her but that is her charm. She is just too easy to love I think!! … Ashley, this woman is nothing short of amazing. She set a goal in her life and has overcome everything that got in her way. I look up to her so much and hope I can be as good of a teacher as she is. We do have a tendency to butt heads on many occasions but I love her...ever so much! …Amanda (Tucker, Bob, Martha, Resbusha...and many others) gah, this girl she is the other part of my soul I think Haha...okay not really but man oh man does she make me laugh. I mean we are capable of having serious conversations with each other but mostly it is just fun and sarcasm. She is amazing and has lost tons of weight and is well like a said amazing. …Lastly, Alisha she is probably the sweetest most kind hearted lady. She would give you the shirt off her back if you asked her to. She was always the peace maker in the house; she hated the contention and tried to make us all get along. Haha. Now she is married to Richard who is seriously the best brother-in-law anyone could ask for and they have the most ADORABLE little girl, Brinklie (don’t worry I’ll talk more about her later!) basically, my family is my everything!! I love you guys!!!
Friends, we all have ‘em but there are the ones...you know the ones I’m talking about...who know all you’re junk have seen you at your absolute worst, who take all your crap, listen to you for hours when you know they have other better things to do, who never walk away, the ones who truly deserve medals or something for how absolutely fantastic they are. I have recently discovered just how few of these I have had in my life, not saying I haven’t had a plethora of great friends, because I have and still do. But these friends that I am talking about are the ones that will stay your friend for life and know you better than you know yourself. These friends are the ones that make life worth living sometimes because they can make you smile when all you really want to do is spontaneously combust or hide in a dark hole and never come out and just cry till there is nothing left. These friends, I hope you know who you are because I am truly grateful that I have you in my life!
I have found that I LOVE sunglasses, they truly brighten my life, well I guess if we’re going to get technical they dim it...but whatever. Without them I would probably have premature wrinkles all over my forehead from squinting all the time. However, I could totally due without the red indents on the side of my nose after I take them off. I LOVE night time walks, gosh it is just so wonderful and peaceful. I especially love the stars. They are truly splendid. I discovered that I am slightly obsessed with knowing random facts. Not only is it crazy the things that you can find out but then one day someone says something and you have this fact about it and well you feel kind of smug that you know something people never thought you knew Haha...it’s kind of nice! I love love love jesus shoes…or gladiators, whatever they’re called I just love ‘em a lot (even though my entire family hates them). I love seeing old friends and catching up with them. It’s really wonderful I sometimes forget how amazing all of my old friends are and I am truly happy they are still willing to keep me as a friend and they continue to amaze me with their awesomeness!
I also have decided that I am grateful to have a job. And not just any job, the one I have. Not only do I get money (and well let’s face it I wouldn’t be doing this if money wasn’t involved … ) but I have met some really amazing people with equally amazing stories to tell. Now, don’t get me wrong sometimes there are the absolute rudest people, but I think the good ones cancel out the bad!
I love little kids. I guess that’s why I’m going into elementary education hah...of course it is!!! They are so full of life and remind you all the time that you just have to enjoy life. My favorite little one has got to be my niece hands down. This little girl seriously lights up my world. She has the cutest personality and makes you laugh constantly. She knows if you’re sad and will come and love you and just play with you. Gosh this little girl can turn any horrible day into a fantastic one. If there is ever a day where I feel terrible all I have to do is pay this cutie a visit and everything is better. I have no idea how I ever lived before she came along.
Well I have officially blabbed FOREVER and now I think it’s time that I should get some work done. No worries dear ones I’m sure I will be back soon!!! Haha now for those of you suffered through this entire thing Haha I love you! :)

Well as you can see by the title of this post I really do not have much to say at this time. However, it has been a while since I have posted anything; so here is the update. School is now out for the summer and I think I did very well this past semester. For those who do not know, I just finished my first semseter in my Bachelors Program for Elementary Education. It was a very difficult semester filled with more homework than i even like to think about. I received 4 A's and 2 A-'s which left my GPA at a 3.89! Needless to say I was extremely proud of myself! I think I have finally come to the conclusion that 1st grade is most likely where I want to see myself after I am finished with my schooling! I moved home for the summer so I can work and earn money, which let's face it I am in dire need for! I love being home with my family it is really nice, but I get insanely bored here in good ole Kanab! I miss my roommates like crazy they are sincerely the very best friends I have ever had (just in case you guys don't know this is a total shout out to you :D haha I love you guys)! Two of my roommates are getting married, really soon I might add, and another has a boyfriend. The point to this last statement is that I ahve suddenly realized that I am doomed to be alone for the rest of my life. haha no just kidding, I honestly think that right now with my life being so busy I could not handle a relationship on top of it, so it is simply the right thing at this time. Well here I am rambling, when I know all people really want is to see pictures (well at least that is what I love the most :D) So here are a few, they are from my nieces 1 year birthday party!
