Summer Adventures...so far!!!

Well again I haven't posted in awhile, but, oh well!!!
This Summer has been SO much fun! I have hung out with my best friend, Jasmine a lot, hung out with my fam jam, went to the Lake, and most importantly got to hang out with miss Brinklie.

So, one night Jasmine and I are walking up Main (the coolest place in town if your in Kanab, HAHAH) and all of the sudden this man (yes a full grown man, British even) came running up next to us...in a FULL BODY, BLUE, NYLON SUIT! I laughed so hard the instant I saw him and he said in his witty british tongue, "Do I need to call a medic?" That made me laugh harder. Needless to say he made my night, he then asked if we wanted to take a picture with him...so here it is!! :)


Melissa, Jasmine and I went to Lake Powell one day, just to get our tan on and have fun! It was great! Jasmine and I are going again Tuesday and Wednesday! :)







Well other than that I really haven't done anything exceptional, I have just hung out with my family and Jasmine...so here are some fun pictures from those times!












Well, lastly I suppose...My sister's neighbor is starting a photography business and wanted some "models" so to speak to help him get it started...he asked Jasmine and I if we would do it and so here are the pictures he has finished touching up of me...




Well that is all for now. Tomorrow is the MONSTER TRUCK RALLY in St. George and then I'm going to the Lake for 2 days so I'm sure I will have more pictures soon!! :)

Oh Susan!!!!

Today I would like to dedicate a very special post to my dear sister Susan...ASHLEY!!!
I just want to say thanks for all you have helped me with lately! You are one magnificent specimen if I do say so myself!!! :)

Today is a glorious day! "Why?" you ask!
Because I PASSED THE PRAXIS!!!!!!!

Now, as all of you that actually read this know I was utterly convinced I failed this test and was completely surprised to look up my score and see the BIG and bolded word PASSED on my score sheet!!
Suffice it to say ...

The Biggest Loser...

Not literally like the people on T.V. that devote themselves to losing weight and being overall champs (even though we all know I could use to lose a few pounds)! Anyways..I'm the biggest BLOG loser! haha! I keep trying to convince myself that I will get my crap together and start blogging more, not that my life is important enough to write down and for others to see but just for the sake of saying I have a blog..lame I know! And everytime, without fail, I manage to not blog again and become an epic failure to the blog world! Today that will change for about a milisecond (okay longer, based on however long it takes to write this post) While I write down recent happening in the life of myself, Shaylee Nicole Williams and my life, or lack thereof!
Well first off I'm going to post a picture of my Cohort, the fine folks that I have cohabitated with in the same classroom for almost a year and a half now. This picture is extremely small, I know, but it's the genuine effort I am putting into posting this and giving them all a shout out of love!

Well there they all are, in all their magnificent glory! Haha I love these guys but I'd be lieing if I said I wasn't ready for these 2 years to be over with!
Well this Saturday: the date of which was March 12, 2011, for those who enjoy specific details, I endured the long process of taking the PRAXIS! Now if you don't know what this is let me give you a brief explanation. It is a test for people going into the field of education and you have to pass it with a specific score in order to gain the title of "A Highly Qualified Teacher". For Elementary Pre-service teachers this test is a LARGE scope of K-6th grade content knowledge:science, history, social studies, math, and language arts. Basically I was ill prepared for the mental beating this test was ready to give me. I think I failed, EPICALLY and left the test looking in a close proximation to this...

So basically I'm banking on a failure...to pass I have to get a 150 and I'll be surprised if I get half of that. I suck supremely at Social Studies so that part of the test kicked my metaphorical bum! But I'll get 'em next time...I will hit the books hard and actually study! But no fear folks I will let you know if I pass, if i failed as I suspect there will be no further post about my Praxis fiasco!
hmm...what else is a juicy tidbit that you might enjoy..well I recently got glasses and my dad really enjoys calling me 4 eyes! Haha in all fairness I do look like a doofus but at least I can see without squinting!!

So there I am with the infamous glasses and my sister Amanda! Or as I like to call her...bob, tucker, resbusha, and basically anything else I can think of at the initial moment of speaking to her! And that beautiful piece of eye candy that I call my sister is getting MARRIED!!! oh man its so crazy but I'm so happy for you!!! WAHOO for being in love!!! :D
I turned the BIG 21!! I went to Las Vegas with some of the girls from my Cohort and had a way fun time!





I went to Region DANCE that was in Kanab and hung out with some of my old teammates!! I LOVE these girls!!!


For the most part I've just been going to school and working..as always! Well and hanging out with this cute little girl as well...

Today, once I am off work, Melissa, Alisha, Brinklie and I are road trippin up north to spend some time with Ashley, shop and just have a few days away from the monotany of our lives!!! YAY!!!! OH YA ROAD TRIP YA!!!

A Cornucopia of Events!

Well it seems that once again, i have failed...miserably... at keeping up on my blog! And as my great sister Ashley has informed me that her facebook is gone and i rarely answer my phone my blog is her portal to my life! so here it is for anyone who is even remotely interested in the boring and rather somewhat crazy life of me...Shaylee Nicole Williams! let me catch you all up on the happenings in the last few months!

JULY!!!
Hmmm...what happened in july...well lets start at the beginning..SHALL WE?!?!
so the 4th of July seems like an adequate place to start! My fam was ALL here..and oh boy was it amazing! i miss Ashley..or as i like to call her SUSAN!! so much and her and Spencer came down and completed the holiday!!! Also, my FABULOUS friend FARA came as well. it was pure happiness!! well sense no one really enjoys to read...lets look at the pictures that documented this marvelous occasion!





well later on that month Amanda and I ventured to the Northern part of Utah to visit Ashley and so i could go to my old roomate Jessica's wedding!! ..here are some pictures of these events as well!!



There was also, a trip to Zion, a trip to Bryce Canyon and many lovely adventures with some high quality folks..i call my friends!!!

and well to end a month of fun and greatness i sent off my missionary!! :( it was rather sad and i cried alot..i'm a baby i can admit it! but he sand me a song and play the Ukulele..if you'd like to hear the actual song..not him singing it...but the ACTUAL song its called...Did it Hurt? by nevershoutnever!! well anyways! here is a picture of us the day before he left!!!

AUGUST!!
well this month brought out moving back to school! i'm in my second semester now of my bach. program and i'm pretty freakin excited about it!!! hmm...well here is a picture of my and my roomate Dani going to church!

later i went to THE MAINE concert with melissa and some friends!! it was magnificent!!!





I hung out with the Fam Jam alot, went to the park and such! hung out with my good ole pal fara!! and that pretty much rounded out my august!



SEPTEMBER!
September...well it came and went with a plethora of homework and a WHOLE lot of shaylee with NO life!! thus why there will be NO pictures with this month!!!

OCTOBER!!!
well october started out with a bang!!! My mom and Dad and amanda and i and fara went to Tuacahn (i think that is how you spell it...i hate silent H's!!) anyways we got rained out, thus landing us some tickets to go see THRILLER...those pictures shall arise later..for now the pictures of TARZAN..or us at tarzan wet and cold!!!




I went to many of Mike's (the missionary) little brother, Helaman's, Football games!





Also, funny story, So in my 5th grade practicum class i was helping with math interventions when i walk over to a certain boy who is always in his own world and ask him if he needs help. he said no then said, "Ms. Williams, why aren't you married?" I said, "Because i don't want to be yet." he sincerely thought that over for a few seconds then said, "Well would you want to marry me?" oh gosh i laughed so hard all i could do was walk out of the room...oh man kids say the darndest things!!
haha well needless to say october was a great month! we went to THRILLER and I loved it..except i froze!! here are some pictures!!



Well and to end a great month My mom, dad, Melissa and I decorated pumpkins today!!!
